PROJECTS & EVENTS
FULL-SCALE EXPERIMENT IN THE SOUTH OF PARIS
DEDALE and the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris associated in 2007 in order to transform this site and its exceptional architectural heritage into a laboratory of urban, social and digital innovation.
At the border the city of Paris and its suburbs, this experiment experiment is part of a strategy to enhance the South of Paris : Parc de la Cité Internationale, Gentilly, Arcueil, Paris 13th and 14th.
It includes a program of regular artists residencies applied to the territory, actions conducted along with inhabitants, experiment schemes for mediation of digital heritage, conferences and events in urban space.
PARKING DAY
PARK(ing) DAY is a annual open-source global event where citizens, artists and activists collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public places.
MOB | City and mobile film creation
Experimenting with new urban uses, MOB encourages emerging artistic practices related to mobile and wireless technologies. He invites artists and citizens to explore new realities and urban changes on 5 cities in Europe.
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES
Multidisciplinary speakers such as researchers, artists and diverse professionals are invited to deepen the thought on the stakes at play with urban mobility and new technologies.
MINIMOB
This international competition invited young European cross-disciplinary artists to experiment and use the mobile phone as a new means of creation and narrative, to reveal a creative vision of urban spaces and European cities.
HERITAGE EXPERIENCE
Heritage Experience is an Interactive and immersive multimedia device: iPhone
app dedicated to heritage mediation, offering a sensitive reading of the territory.
SMARTMAP
SmartMAP is a sensitive and collaborative map, based on co-creation of the content with users and local population in the frame of workshops, and on API’s (Google Maps, Open Street Map, Youtube, Flickr).
URBAN PROMENADES
Urban Promenades are augmented conference-walk, aiming at providing a new and off-beat look on the territory, thanks to an interactive interface on iPad to read digital contents.
OTERP
Oterp offers a new apprehension of urban space. It is a mobile application allowing the creation of a musical score according to the spatial position. Thus, the user experiments a sensitive way of exploring the territory.
URBAN PLAYGROUND
This workshop contributed to the reflection on the issues of new art practices, data representation, new forms of urban and sensitive cartography, thanks to the production of innovative artistic projects.
PICRI | RESEARCH-ACTION PROGRAMME ON URBAN INNOVATION
Artistic intervention as a catalyst for innovation and citizens’ involvement in urban projects. How to promote citizens’ innovation and collaboration capacity in urban projects?
PLAYGREEN
By crossing participative actions that supports sustainable developpment and green cities, social networks and collaborative digital tools, Playgreen invites people to contribute to the emergence of a new urbanity and to become its eco-actors.
